Hi, I use Emacs for editing, and mysql (mainly) for a database server, so I wrote a front-end for *nix to do mysql queries with Emacs functions. Here are some current features:
As you can see, there are some very useful functions for mysql that won't tie up your shell, and that will make your life easier, whether you work with only 1 database, or constantly switch, lispsql will make you more productive.
There are many additions planned, and we can also offer support for other vendors if this is popular. We can also offer support for other databases. Just fill out feature requests.
